Concept & Planning: Director Arbie with the Squid Game spoof idea—turning the pain of huge roaming charges into a hilarious “game” for a physical SIM card
Assistant Director/Producer: Shreya teamed up with Arbie to nail down set design and props, especially the dalgona candy, making sure every piece was spot-on.
Props & Wardrobe: Sourced the candy-SIM props, Squid Game–style guard uniforms, country-name animations assets, plus all lighting and camera rigs
Logistics & Art Direction: The61studio lined up set design, cast fittings, location permits and made sure every prop and piece of equipment was ready for the shoot
Crew & Schedule: A 16-person team powered through a 12-hour shoot, managing art direction, camera setups, lighting and the comedic performances.
Performance & Direction: Arbie kept the energy high, guiding the cast through over-the-top reactions while the cameras rolled.
Technical Execution: Multiple rigs captured wide, close-up, and match-cut shots, transforming an airport lounge into a crayon-sky arena for maximum contrast.
Editing & Animation: Ken cut together the footage, synced the Squid Game sound cues, and created the tin-can spin and country-name transitions.
Sound & Music: Playful stingers, ambient airport noise, and a lighthearted score were layered in to amp up the comedy.
Final Polish: A crisp color grade delineated the bleak “game” scenes from the bright airport reveal, and Mobimatter branding animations were seamlessly integrated.
